The membrane is dressed into the recess and sealed to the flange, so water under the tile is led into the waste, not the slab. Three sizes to suit 50, 80 and 100 mm drains.

Use it for

Shower and bathroom floors being waterproofed before tiling

Any floor waste in a wet area that needs the membrane tied in

Features

Recessed round flange that the membrane laps into

Plastic, so it will not corrode in the slab

Specifications

100 x 100 mm, for 100 mm drains (BL-RPF100100R)

80 x 80 mm, for 80 mm drains (BL-RPF8080R)

80 x 50 mm, for 50 mm drains (BL-RPF8050R)

Fits

Sits under the floor waste on the pipe: match the second number to your drain outlet size

Good to know

Fit the flange before waterproofing, level with or just below the screed

Follow the membrane maker's instructions for dressing the membrane into the flange and use bond breaker where they call for it

Puddle flanges are part of the waterproofing system in Australian wet areas
