siri-yellow-sponge-with-cuts-fits-rdxt609-handle
Siri Yellow Sponge With Cuts – Fits RDXT609 Handle

The Siri yellow hydro sponge with cuts is the washing sponge for the Siri RDXT609 handle. Hydro sponge holds plenty of water but releases it evenly, so it lifts grout haze off the tile face without flooding the joints, and the slits cut across the face scoop up residue that a plain sponge pushes around. It matches Siri's 27 x 13 x 3 cm sponge trowel format.

Use it for

Washing cement grout off tiles during grouting

Second-pass cleaning where there is a lot of residue to lift

Specifications

Size: 270 x 130 x 30 mm

Material: hydro sponge

Colour: yellow, with cuts

Box quantity: 24

Fits

Siri interchangeable blue handle, RDXT609, with a snap-on change

Good to know

The same sponge without cuts is RDXT610; the brown sponge (RDXT612a) suits rough textured tiles

Wring it through the rollers of a Siri wash bucket rather than by hand so it stays damp, not wet

Rinse out and let it dry between jobs; dried grout in the cuts stiffens the sponge
