Roberts Designs Aluminium Stair Trim with 4 Black Carborundum Strip Inserts is the heavy commercial stair nosing: a 75mm wide mill finish aluminium tread edge with four deep embedded carborundum strips for serious grip on busy or wet stairs. 10mm deep, 2.5m long.
Use it for
- Shopping centres, schools, stations and public buildings
- External stairs and ramps exposed to rain
- Any tiled stair carrying heavy foot traffic

Good to know
- The 10mm leg suits a 10mm tile plus a thin bed. Set the trim before the tread tile.
- Mill finish is plain aluminium and will dull over time. The carborundum strips are what people see and feel.
- Wet adhesive and grout are highly alkaline and will etch aluminium if left sitting on the trim. Wipe the trim clean as you go and change your bucket water often.
