The BAT Electroplated Diamond Drill Set is a wet drilling kit for porcelain, ceramic and stone. Five bits cover the common fixing sizes, the suction guide holds the bit exactly where you want the hole, and the pressure bottle feeds water onto the cut so the diamond stays cool.
What's in the box
- Electroplated diamond drill bits: 5, 6, 8, 10 and 12 mm
- 0.9 litre water pressure bottle
- 5 hole universal suction drill guide
- 1.8 m of flexible hose
Use it for
- Holes for taps, towel rails, shower screens and bathroom accessories
- Drilling finished tiles on the wall without chipping the glaze
Features
- Suction guide locks onto the tile so the bit cannot wander
- Water fed from the bottle for wet drilling
- All bits fit a standard drill chuck
Specifications
- Model: EPDB-5PUK
- The guide takes 5 to 12 mm electroplated bits; spare bits are sold singly
Good to know
- Wet use only. Pump the bottle up and keep water on the bit the whole time
- Low speed, light pressure; forcing the bit glazes the diamond
- The suction cup needs a smooth, clean tile face to grip
