The BAT Floor Scraper 125 x 500 mm is the mid size scraper for lifting tiles, vinyl and old adhesive. The 125 mm blade gets under a tile edge, the 500 mm handle gives you two hands and some leverage, and the butt head on the end is made to be hit with a hammer when a tile will not come.
Use it for
- Lifting floor tiles and vinyl during a strip out
- Scraping old adhesive and levelling compound off a slab
- Working behind toilets and in cupboards where a long pole cannot swing
Features
- 125 mm replaceable blade
- 500 mm handle for grip and leverage
- Butt head for striking with a hammer
Specifications
- Blade width: 125 mm
- Handle length: 500 mm
- Model: FS-125
- Takes the 5 pack of 125 mm replacement blades
Good to know
- Keep the blade angle low so it slides under the tile rather than digging into the slab
- Wear eye protection and gloves; tile shards are sharp
- Swap the blade as soon as it rolls over; a blunt blade is twice the work
