The BAT Pro Builders Square is a set square for marking and checking right angles. Tilers use it to square up the first tiles off a wall, to mark 90 degree cuts and to lay out a room before the adhesive comes out. Two sizes: 200 x 300 mm for tiles and 400 x 600 mm for floors.
Use it for
- Marking square cuts on tiles before scoring or sawing
- Checking a room, hob or niche is square before setting out
- Laying out tile lines and measuring off a wall
Features
- Right angle with a long and a short arm
- Two sizes for tile work and floor layout
Specifications
- 200 x 300 mm (BP-BS2030)
- 400 x 600 mm (BP-BS4060)
Good to know
- Few rooms are truly square. Set your tile lines off the square, not the walls, and let the cuts take up the difference
- Check the square now and then by drawing a line, flipping the square and drawing again
- Keep it clean of adhesive so it sits flat on the tile
