BATSEAL De-Scale is a phosphoric acid cleaner for the mess that cement leaves behind: grout haze, efflorescence, lime scale and mineral deposits on acid resistant tiles and grout. It is the after tiling clean that takes a floor from dull and cloudy to the finish you laid. In 1 and 4 litre bottles.
Use it for
- Removing cement and grout haze after installation
- Efflorescence (white salts) on tiles, pavers and grout
- Lime scale and mineral deposits in showers and laundries
- Cleaning tiles before sealing
Features
- Phosphoric acid based, milder than hydrochloric acid cleaners
- Works on acid resistant tiles and cement grout
Specifications
- Sizes: 1 litre (BC-DSC1) and 4 litre (BC-DSC4)
Good to know
- Not for marble, limestone, travertine or other acid sensitive stone; it will etch them
- Test on a small hidden area first
- Wet the floor before applying so the acid works on the haze and not the grout, then rinse well with clean water
- Wear gloves and eye protection and ventilate the room
