The Roberts Designs Heavy Duty Floor Scraper strips old adhesive, vinyl, carpet glue and levelling compound off a floor so you can tile onto a clean substrate. A spring steel blade on a solid metal body, with hand grips at the top and centre so you can put your weight behind it.
Use it for
- Scraping old adhesive and glue residue before tiling
- Lifting vinyl, carpet underlay and paint flakes
- Knocking off high spots of render and mortar droppings
- Clearing adhesive ridges before grouting if you missed a spot

Good to know
- The 300mm blade is faster on open floors. The 150mm blade gets along edges and into stubborn spots.
- Keep the blade angle low and push in long strokes.

Not always. Some products are ordered in from the supplier. If you need something by a certain date, call us to check before you order.
Do you deliver?
Tiles and large items are delivered within the Perth metro area, or you can pick up free from Maddington. Small bathroom items like tapware and accessories post anywhere in Australia from $9.95 (up to 250 g; 500 g $11.95, 1 kg $15, 3 kg $20). Delivery options for your address show at checkout.
How much tile should I order?
Measure the area in square metres and add 10% for cuts and breakages (15–20% for herringbone or diagonal layouts). Every tile page has a calculator that sets the quantity for you.
Can I pick up my order?
Yes. Choose pickup at checkout. Wait until we tell you your order is ready, then book a pickup time and bring your order number.
Can I return something?
Change-of-mind returns are accepted within 30 days for unused products in original packaging. A 15% restocking fee applies. Faulty or damaged items are covered under the Australian Consumer Law. See our Refund Policy.
