Maxisil Cleaner is the first step of a silicone job: an acetone based cleaner that lifts oils, soap residue and dust off tiles, glass and stainless steel so the primer and sealant bond to the surface rather than the grime on it. It suits the whole Maxisil sealant range.
Use it for
- Cleaning non-porous surfaces before Maxisil primer and silicone
- Tile and stainless steel cleaning around joints
- Wiping fresh, uncured silicone smears off tiles
Features
- Acetone based, removes contaminants and oils
- Flashes off in about a minute
- Compatible with all Maxisil products
Specifications
- Size: 250 ml
- Model: RDX2004
Good to know
- Apply with a clean, lint free cotton cloth and allow about 1 minute airing time before priming or sealing
- Highly flammable: keep away from flames and sparks, ventilate the room and wear gloves and eye protection
- Porous surfaces such as mortar are cleaned with a wire brush instead
