Maxisil Smoothtex A is the smoothing agent for tooling Maxisil Wet Area and Maxisil Pool silicone. A dip of the applicator in it lets the bead glide to a clean, glossy line without dragging or smearing fresh sealant.
Use it for
- Smoothing Maxisil Wet Area and Maxisil Pool sealant in showers, around baths, vanities and pool joints
- Silicone, polyurethane and MS hybrid polymer sealants
Features
- Increased workability on silicone
- Keeps the shine of the sealant surface and does not wash out the colour pigment
- Dermatologically tested ingredients that will not dry your skin
Specifications
- Mixing ratio: 2 parts Smoothtex A to 1 part water
- Sizes: 250 ml (RDX2000), 1 litre (RDX1999) and 5 litre (RDX2002)
- Store frost free between 0°C and 35°C
Good to know
- Not for marble or other natural stone. Use Smoothtex N there
- Wipe off visible water streaks straight after sealing or they can set permanently
- Use sparingly. Dried residue on the sealant can leave matt or bright spots
- Pairs with the Maxisil Applicator and 500 ml spray bottle
