The BAT Aluminium Screed Bar is a 50 x 45 mm powder coated box section with a handle, for cutting and levelling sand and cement screed and concrete. The two working edges are different, and the bar flips over so you can cut the screed down with one edge and smooth it with the other. Ten lengths from 1.2 to 5 m.
Use it for
- Screeding bathroom and laundry floors to falls before tiling
- Levelling bedding mortar and concrete toppings
- Straightening long runs where a float is too short

Good to know
- Pick a bar longer than the gap between your screed rails so it rides on both
- Wash the screed off straight after use; set mortar ruins the edge
- Store it flat or hung so it stays straight

Is everything in stock?
Not always. Some products are ordered in from the supplier. If you need something by a certain date, call us to check before you order.
Do you deliver?
Tiles and large items are delivered within the Perth metro area, or you can pick up free from Maddington. Small bathroom items like tapware and accessories post anywhere in Australia from $9.95. Delivery options for your address show at checkout.
How much tile should I order?
Measure the area in square metres and add 10% for cuts and breakages (15–20% for herringbone or diagonal layouts). Every tile page has a calculator that sets the quantity for you.
Can I pick up my order?
Yes. Choose pickup at checkout. Wait until we tell you your order is ready, then book a pickup time and bring your order number.
Can I return something?
Change-of-mind returns are accepted within 30 days for unused products in original packaging. A 15% restocking fee applies. Faulty or damaged items are covered under the Australian Consumer Law. See our Refund Policy.
Warranty and returns
Products come with the manufacturer's warranty, on top of your rights under the Australian Consumer Law.
