The BAT Side Nipper with a single curved jaw is for nibbling curves and notches into tile that a straight cutter cannot make: around a pipe, a toilet flange or a tap. One jaw is straight and one is curved, both tipped in tungsten carbide, and the spring loaded handles open themselves between bites.
Use it for
- Cutting round holes and curves for pipes and wastes
- Nibbling notches for door frames and skirting
- Trimming cut edges that came out a little long
Features
- Offset single curved jaw: 1 x straight and 1 x curved jaw
- Tungsten carbide tipped cutting edges
- Spring loaded handles with soft grip
Specifications
- Model: SN-SCJ
Good to know
- Take small bites from the edge in towards the line; big bites crack the tile
- Score the line first with a tile scriber so the nipper has something to follow
- Wear eye protection and smooth the finished edge with a diamond hand pad
