The BATSEAL Delta Silicone Joint Cutter is an angled blade tool for cutting old silicone out of a joint before resealing. The blade reaches in at 45 degrees, so it runs along both faces of the joint and slices the bead free in a strip instead of leaving smears of old silicone behind that new sealant will not stick to.
Use it for
- Stripping old or mouldy silicone from shower, bath and vanity joints
- Cleaning sealant off tile edges without scratching the glaze
- Cutting out failed beads before regrouting or resealing
Features
- 45 degree angled cutter
- Replaceable blades
Specifications
- Model: S A-DSJC
- Spare blade set: S A-DSJC-SB
Good to know
- Cut down both sides of the bead, then peel the strip out
- Wipe the joint with a silicone remover or methylated spirits so the new bead bonds
- Dispose of used blades in a sealed container
