The Roberts Designs Niche Box 372 x 332 is a ready made shower recess: a high density foam box with a cementitious waterproof coating that you fix between the studs, waterproof, and tile straight over. It saves framing, sheeting and shaping a niche by hand, and the shelf already has a fall so water runs out.
Use it for
- Shampoo recesses in showers
- Niches in bath surrounds and feature walls
- Renovations and new builds, in stud or rendered walls

- Built in 2mm fall on one length and one width, so the shelf drains

Good to know
- Set the niche out to the tile module so the edges land on a grout line and you are not left with slivers.
- Seal the joints between the niche and the wall sheet with membrane and bond breaker as part of the waterproofing.
- Finish the exposed edges with a tile trim or mitred tiles.

Is everything in stock?
Not always. Some products are ordered in from the supplier. If you need something by a certain date, call us to check before you order.
Do you deliver?
Tiles and large items are delivered within the Perth metro area, or you can pick up free from Maddington. Small bathroom items like tapware and accessories post anywhere in Australia from $9.95. Delivery options for your address show at checkout.
How much tile should I order?
Measure the area in square metres and add 10% for cuts and breakages (15–20% for herringbone or diagonal layouts). Every tile page has a calculator that sets the quantity for you.
Can I pick up my order?
Yes. Choose pickup at checkout. Wait until we tell you your order is ready, then book a pickup time and bring your order number.
Can I return something?
Change-of-mind returns are accepted within 30 days for unused products in original packaging. A 15% restocking fee applies. Faulty or damaged items are covered under the Australian Consumer Law. See our Refund Policy.
Warranty and returns
Products come with the manufacturer's warranty, on top of your rights under the Australian Consumer Law.
