The Raimondi rubber tile beater is a heavy beating block for large format tiles and slabs. Its weight and the anti bounce rubber base push the tile down into the adhesive and drive the air out from underneath, so you get full contact without the block skipping back at you. The white stain free rubber will not mark a polished tile.
Use it for
- Bedding large format porcelain and slabs into the adhesive
- Pushing out air pockets under tiles so they do not sound hollow
Features
- Anti bounce rubber base that protects the tile surface
- Sturdy galvanised steel frame
- Offset handle for a larger striking area and less wrist fatigue
Specifications
- Size: 145 x 350 mm
- Rubber: white, stain free
- Weight: about 1.8 kg
- Model: 142GR
Good to know
- Work from the centre of the tile out to the edges so trapped air has somewhere to go.
- Tap it with a rubber mallet or use the weight of the block alone on thin slabs.
- For whole floors of large format, the Raimondi e-Fox vibrator does the same job faster.
