The Roberts Designs White Rubber Mallet taps tiles down into the adhesive bed and levels them against their neighbours. The 500 gram white rubber head will not leave black marks on light tiles the way a standard black mallet does.
Use it for
- Bedding floor tiles and knocking down high corners
- Seating large format tiles for full adhesive contact
- Tapping trims and levelling clips into place
Specifications
- Head weight: 500 grams
- Head: Non-marking white rubber
- Handle: Ergonomic
- Model: RDXT700
Good to know
- Tap through a grout float or a scrap of timber on polished and delicate tiles.
- Hollow sounding tiles after tapping usually mean not enough adhesive. Lift and re-butter rather than hitting harder.
