The BAT Bright Steel Square Notch Trowel is the everyday tiling trowel: a carbon steel blade with square notches and a soft grip handle, in six notch sizes from 4 to 15 mm. Square notches leave even ridges of adhesive that collapse into a full bed when the tile is pressed in.

Use it for

4 and 6 mm: wall tiles, small format floor tiles and mosaics on sheets
8 and 10 mm: standard floor tiles and larger wall tiles
12 and 15 mm: large format tiles and floors that need a thicker bed

Features

Bright (carbon) steel blade
Soft grip handle
Square notch profile

Specifications

Notch sizes: 4, 6, 8, 10, 12 and 15 mm
Models: BAT-BS4-SG, BAT-BS6-SG, BAT-BS8-SG, BAT-BS10-SG, BAT-BS12-SG, BAT-BS15-SG

Good to know

Comb adhesive in straight lines so air can escape when the tile is pressed down
Bright steel rusts if put away wet. Wash it, dry it and wipe it with oil
Check the notch size against your adhesive data sheet before you start
