BATSEAL Silcopel is a solvent based siloxane water repellent for porous masonry. It soaks into render, brick and stone and lines the pores so water beads off, while the surface keeps its natural look and still breathes. In 1 and 4 litre tins.
Use it for
- Rendered and bagged walls
- Face brick and blockwork
- Sandstone, limestone and other porous stone
- Retaining walls and garden walls that stay damp
Features
- Solvent based siloxane
- Penetrates porous masonry rather than forming a film
- Repels water without changing the look of the surface
Specifications
- Sizes: 1 litre (BC-SPELSB1) and 4 litre (BC-SPELSB4)
- Thin and clean up with BATSEAL Eversol solvent
Good to know
- It is a water repellent, not a stain sealer; for oil and stain protection on stone use BATSEAL HPS
- Surfaces must be clean and dry; let new render cure first
- Work in a ventilated area away from flames
- Test on a spare tile or a hidden corner first and check the surface is clean and dry before sealing
