Roberts Designs Electroplated Diamond Pin Drills cut clean, smooth holes in tile for screws, fixings and small pipes. Used wet, the electroplated diamond edge leaves a tidy hole with minimal chipping around the rim.
Use it for
- Fixing holes for towel rails, toilet roll holders and shower screens
- Small pipe and cable penetrations in wall tiles
- Holes in ceramic and porcelain
Specifications
- Type: Electroplated diamond pin drill
- Cut: Wet
- Finish: Smooth
- Sizes: 6mm, 8mm, 10mm or 12mm

Good to know
- Keep water on the cut. Running a diamond bit or blade dry overheats it and shortens its life.
- Start on an angle so the bit bites, then straighten up. Light pressure and medium speed give the cleanest hole.
- For very hard porcelain or a lot of holes, the Vacuum Brazed bits last longer.
