The Raimondi planetary head turns the Ipertitina into a grinding and polishing machine. Three or six geared satellite heads spin against the direction of the main plate, which cancels swirl marks and balances the torque so the machine does not pull sideways, and the gearing drives the satellites at five times plate speed for real cutting power with diamond pads.
Use it for
- Grinding and polishing marble, granite, terrazzo and cement with diamond pads
- Sanding timber floors with zirconium discs
Features
- Geared satellites spin counter to the plate, reducing swirl marks
- Satellite speed is 5 times plate speed
- Quick clutch flange for fast accessory changes
- Works to within 1 cm of walls
- Magnetic and hook and loop satellite tool attachment
Specifications
- Planetary diameter: 490 mm
- Satellites: 100 mm
- 3 geared satellites: Art. 250PL3MONN, about 12 kg
- 6 geared satellites: Art. 250PL6MONN, about 15.5 kg
Fits
- Raimondi Ipertitina and Ipertitina Plus
Good to know
- Raimondi's 115 mm metal and resin bond diamond pads and zirconium discs are made for these satellites and must not be run on the plain disc holder.
- Fit the ballast blocks for grinding and use the splash ring with water for polishing.
