Maxisil Smoothtex N is the smoothing agent made for tooling Maxisil Natural Stone silicone on marble, granite and other natural stone. It is formulated to cut the risk of the staining that ordinary soapy smoothing liquids can leave on porous stone.
Use it for
- Tooling off fresh silicone beads where the sealant meets natural stone
- Smoothing Maxisil Natural Stone sealant
Features
- Increased workability on silicone
- Keeps the shine of the sealant and does not wash the colour pigment out
- Dermatologically tested ingredients
Specifications
- Mixing ratio: use undiluted
- Sizes: 250 ml (RDX2019) and 1 litre (RDX2020)
- Store frost free between 0°C and 35°C
Good to know
- Use it sparingly: dip the Maxisil Applicator in the liquid rather than wetting the joint
- Rinse any excess off the stone with clean water before it dries
- Tool matt colours once only, as repeat passes turn a matt finish glossy
- Very dark stones such as Nero Impala can still mark, so test a small area first
