The Roberts Designs Stainless Steel Square Notched Maxi Grip Trowel Large has a 400 x 115mm blade, so you spread a wide, even bed in fewer passes under large format tiles. Stainless steel, Maxigrip handle, and three deep square notches for the thick bed big tiles need.
Use it for
- Large format floor tiles 600mm and up
- Thick bed adhesive on uneven floors
- Large wall tiles and panels
Specifications
- Material: Stainless steel
- Blade: 400 x 115mm
- Notch profile: Square
- Notch sizes: 10mm, 12mm or 15mm
- Handle: Maxigrip
- Model: RDXT240 (10mm), RDXT241 (12mm), RDXT242 (15mm)
Good to know
- Comb in straight lines and back butter the tile as well. Large tiles need near full coverage to avoid hollow spots and cracked corners.
- The 15mm notch is for the biggest tiles and the roughest floors. Most 600 x 600 jobs use 10mm or 12mm.
